Lying north of the ‘Shoreditch Triangle’, Old Street is an eastern City Fringe location which has undergone significant regeneration in recent years. Emerging as a favoured destination for creative start-ups and IT companies, Old Street Roundabout has now notably been renamed ‘The Silicon Roundabout’.
The knock on effect of the transformation and popularity of the area has had a dramatic effect on the locations north of Old Street leading up City Road towards Islington, neighbouring Dalston and along the Wenlock basin over to De Beauvoir.
Major new developments in the area include Aitch Gourp’s Eagle Wharf Road scheme, Helical Bar’s The Bower scheme, Derwent London’s White Collar Factory and Mount Anvil’s, The Eagle and Eagle Black.
