The Thriving Years of Shoreditch and Beyond…

It’s predicted that within the next 10 years East London will be one of the most predominant growth drivers in the UK, with estimates that it will contribute more than £5 billion to public coffers annually.

The UK’s tech startup culture is flourishing and the traditional home for UK startups has been the capital, however as the whole city adapts to the continually developing tech hub, areas such as Shoreditch, Stratford and Hackney will continue to find themselves at the center with competitive prices and modern infrastructures.

Knowledge of The City Fringe grew quickly, and East London Tech City began to attract larger and more established tech companies. The hub not only became home to giants like Google and Facebook, but also to the smaller and niche companies such as Halo, Mind Candy and TransferWise.

London’s Silicon Roundabout, East London, is becoming an increasingly popular spot for tech and digital companies. Located between Shoreditch and Old Street, the area can offer many advantages including highly accessible transport links such as Old Street Station.

Another key benefit to basing your startup/tech-based business in the City Fringe areas is the advantage of being surrounded by like-minded communities. Although there are some big names in the area, the focus is still on supporting new business. With many start ups looking for office space in Shoreditch, the development area has expanded north and beyond Old Street Roundabout into the N1 post code.
